Preparations for Stefan Bradl's second MotoGP
season start in earnest during the opening official test of 2013 at Sepang in Malaysia next week.
The former Moto2 champion concluded his debut season eighth in the standings, having been a podium threat at several rounds.
A top-three trophy ultimately eluded the young German and is thus Bradl's main goal for 2013.
"I can't wait to go back to action aboard my Honda machine,” said Bradl. “For the first time in my career I had my own personal trainer in the winter break and I trained in a completely different way.
"Every day two hours of different sports combining gymnastics, boxing, swimming, tennis and cross-country skiing.
"Actually I feel more prepared and it will be even better for the first race as we will get the first impressions about my physical condition in Sepang next week.
"My personal challenge for 2013 will be climbing the podium. For sure the competitors are very strong but the team has the potential to reach the goal."
Bradl is now contracted with LCR/Honda until the end of 2014.
