Sleep-deprived Bradl hails 'productive' day
LCR Honda's racer Stefan Bradl was able to reflect on a 'productive' day at Sepang despite taking to the track later than scheduled due to 'sleeping issues'.

The German rider, sixth fastest on the penultimate day of the official MotoGP test on his factory RC213V, sat out the final hour of the test after rain halted proceedings.

Bradl's time of 2m 1.369s was 0.820s slower than Dani Pedrosa's fastest lap on the Repsol Honda, but Bradl was satisfied with his progress overall.

“This morning I took to the track later than the others did due to some sleeping issues,” he said.

“Unfortunately I could not sleep properly last night and I started my daily testing programme a bit later but it was still a productive day for us.

“Once I joined the track I could immediately set an acceptable lap time and we proceeded with our rear suspension settings for the major part of the day.

“After that we decided to go for a 15-lap long run to check my average speed on a longer distance aboard this new bike before the rain interrupted our to-do list.”
