Yamaha to join Honda at Austin MotoGP test
Yamaha has confirmed that it will join Honda for a private MotoGP test session at the new Austin circuit from March 12-14.

The Texan track, one of three US rounds alongside Laguna Seca and Indianapolis, will host round two of the 2013 world championship from April 19-21.

Austin held its inaugural F1 event, to widespread praise, at the end of last season.

Ducati has not yet announced if it will also make the (costly) journey to America.

The three official pre-season tests are to take place at Sepang (February 4-6), Sepang II (February 26-28) and Jerez (March 23-25).

maybe its time for ducati to poach some engineers from honda and yamaha...? seriously i dunno how on earth Ducati will sort themselves out this year, they really need new direction and more liberal thinking

there is a reason why Gobmeier said that it's a 2 year project for the Ducati. He alongside his new engineers & managers need to see the bike's strengths & weaknesses.
