'There's more work to do before the first race of the season but we leave Sepang with a good base' - Stefan Bradl
Bradl gaining confidence on works RC213V
Stefan Bradl leaves Sepang with a 'good base' on which to build upon as the LCR Honda team continues preparations for the opening round of the MotoGP World Championship in Qatar in April.

Bradl, who has been confirmed as riding a factory-spec RC213V this season, was sixth fastest in the final day of the Sepang test, 0.6s slower than the top time set by Dani Pedrosa.

The German rider improved his time from day one of the test on Tuesday by half a second and is content with his progress as he looks towards the next test in late February back in Malaysia.

“The result of these three days of work is quite good for me. I think we have completed our job gathering more data ahead the next test here,” said Bradl, who quickest lap was 2m 01.003s.

“Even today I was working on a raft of things from traction control, to suspension and brakes and Bridgestone gave us a new rear hard tyre to test.

“At the end I run the circuit 43 times, growing my confidence on this bike.

“There's more work to do before the first race of the season but we leave Sepang with a good base”.

While I like the first comment (as usual from this user), I can't agree with the final part. It's too much temperature upthere in the fight for victories.
What could might be that scenario in which Stefan will be the winner eventually? In the wet or after a crash involving all the front runners?
I reckon he is hungry for success but, as even him declared, his definition for that word is podium. For the time being he will have to fight for that fifth place, which, after the first day, seemed to be within his grasp. However, as it stands now, Cal has made no secret that fifth place belongs to him.
And who can deny that when everybody knows that Dovi and Spies are out of the game ?
