Bautista concentrates efforts on suspension set-up
Alvaro Bautista focused on the set-up of his Showa suspension as the Sepang MotoGP test reached a conclusion on Thursday.

Bautista was seventh fastest on the Gresini Honda, 1.4s off the top spot, setting a time of 2m 01.502s in the searing heat in Malaysia.

“The intense heat that we've had over the past few days ended up making it considerably harder work out on track.

“That didn't affect our schedule, however, and we continued with the job of setting up the Showa suspension,” said Bautista, who finished one place behind Stefan Bradl's factory-spec RC213V on the time sheets.

“We are making progress, but we still have a lot of work to do and our aim remains to have everything ready for the season start in Qatar.

“We have gathered a lot of data that we will use at the next test here in Sepang at the end of the month.”

I feel sorry for alvaro, with this suspension he appears to have the worst bike by a long way (bar the ducatis which have dissapointed again).
I hope he can get the suspension sorted, as a sole tester for it it cant be easy, as he is good enough to win races on decent machinery.
Honda boss needs to rethink saying Alvaro has to be better than last year, look who he lost too, Factory Hondas/Yamaha/Dovi (who apparently had a great season)
I dont see showa on any other bike (at least the prototypes). Good Luck Alvaro, you deserve your place in MotoGP and I'm confident you will deliver. :)
