Bautista extends Gresini deal?
Alvaro Bautista is reported to have extended his Gresini Honda contract by a further year, until the end of 2014.

Spanish sportspaper AS says that the extension followed Gresini's decision to continue as the only manufacturer MotoGP team running Showa rather than Ohlins suspension.

"It is very important to have already got the renewal for 2014. That will give me also much more stability to work this year," Bautista is quoted as saying.

Former factory Suzuki rider Bautista took his first MotoGP pole and podiums during his debut season with Gresini in 2012.

If confirmed, it would mean that all four RC213V riders - Dani Pedrosa, Marc Marquez, Stefan Bradl and Bautista - are now signed until the end of 2014.
