Laverty’s PBM racer set for Sepang II debut
The PBM team's own CRT MotoGP machine is set to be ready for its debut in the hands of Michael Laverty at next week's second Sepang test.

Rookie Laverty rode team-mate Yonny Hernandez's spare ART bike to an impressive second in class on the final day of the opening test, but will now switch to the brand new machine.

The PBM bike also features an Aprilia ART engine, but within a bespoke chassis by GPMS Technology, previously involved with Kenny Roberts' team and also Ten Kate in World Superbikes.

Unlike the full ARTs, the PBM bike will use the new control ECU system, to be made mandatory from 2014.

Following the final Sepang test, there will be one more official outing - at Jerez in March - before the start of the new MotoGP season.
