Dani Pedrosa says the second day of pre-season MotoGP testing at Jerez was a good opportunity for the Repsol Honda team to 'reconfirm' their settings ahead of the impending 2013 season opener, but he is hoping the final day will yield better weather.
After wet conditions hampered the first day of action, drier conditions allowed Pedrosa to notch up 31 laps before the rain returned to consign all riders to the pit lane during the latter stages.
Setting the fourth fastest time overall, Pedrosa was happy to get some dry mileage around the Spanish circuit, though he is hoping he gets to complete his full programme on day three so as to set him up for the season opener at Losail on April 7th.
"Today we were lucky enough to be able to complete some dry laps which was important, even though the track was quite dirty. We reconfirmed some things from the other tests here at a different track, nothing really new.
“Unfortunately we were not able to complete the whole programme before the rain came again but happy that we did some laps. Let's hope tomorrow stays dry so we can continue our programme and finish in the best way before Qatar"
