Dani Pedrosa will be looking to break out of the shadow of countrymen Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez during this weekend's home Spanish round at Jerez.

Triple title runner-up Pedrosa arrives third in the early 2013 standings, but beaten by rookie Repsol Honda team-mate Marquez in both events so far this season.

A similar defeat in front of their home fans would be especially painful and Pedrosa will instead be aiming to replicate his 2008 MotoGP home win.
