Le Mans: Red flags after Crutchlow accident

Final free practice for the French MotoGP at Le Mans has been halted after five minutes due to an accident for Cal Crutchlow.

The Englishman was kicked into a highside when the rear of his Monster Yamaha Tech 3 lost traction on the exit of a right-hander.

Crutchlow was left lying on the side of the circuit after sliding to a halt, causing the session to be stopped.

Fortunately, Crutchlow was eventually able to walk away and made his way back to the pits on the back of a scooter. He then grabbed a bicycle to head for the necessary medical checks!

The session will restart at 13:43 local time, when Crutchlow - who landed on his right arm - will try to make a return. Le Mans is the home event for the Tech 3 team.

The delay means that Qualifying 1 will now start at 14:20.
