MotoGP title leader Dani Pedrosa
has been declared fit to ride in morning warm-up for the the German Grand Prix after passing a medical test on Sunday morning.
The Repsol Honda star sustained a 'small fracture' to his left collarbone in Saturday practice, causing him to miss qualifying, although a concussion was ruled out.
The Spaniard was unsure if he would try to ride today, since another knock to the weakened bone would almost certainly mean a complete collarbone break and surgery.
Pedrosa, who can start from twelfth on the grid, holds a nine point lead over the absent Jorge Lorenzo, who will miss Sunday's race and next weekend's US GP after re-damaging his broken collarbone from Assen. Pedrosa will undergo a further medical after warm-up.
Pramac Ducati rookie Andrea Iannone will also miss today's race after dislocating his shoulder on Saturday.
