'No decision' on if Lorenzo will ride at US MotoGP

“We have made no decision yet on when Jorge will return to race however we will bring his crew to Laguna to be prepared for any eventuality”
Jorge Lorenzo may have tweeted that he will miss next weekend's US MotoGP at Laguna Seca, but his Yamaha team have indicated that the decision is not yet final.

“We are pleased that Jorge's surgery was completed successfully yesterday and we wish him a very speedy recovery,” said team director Massimo Meregalli.

“We have made no decision yet on when he will return to race however we will bring his crew to Laguna to be prepared for any eventuality.”

Reigning MotoGP champion Lorenzo underwent collarbone surgery for the second time in two weeks, after damaging the original titanium plate inserted to hold the broken bone together when he fell in Friday practice at the Sachsenring.

But with Dani Pedrosa then also withdrawing from the event, after a big Saturday accident, Lorenzo is just eleven points from new title leader Marc Marquez. Laguna Seca is the last event before the summer break.

Its allways an hard decision!! But after what happen its more reasonable to recover at 100% i dunno, if Lorenzo put on is mind to not try somethingh crasy, just a normal race to get some points i think it could be good because after laguna he will have time to rest.. But if he go to laguna trying to make somethingh amyzing for the history boock i guess is better to recover to 100%
