Having declared that he has not quite fully recovered from his collarbone injury, Dani Pedrosa was nonetheless in strong form during practice for the Indianapolis MotoGP - posting the second fastest time of the day.

Currently second in the overall MotoGP standings behind Marc Marquez, Pedrosa comes to Indianapolis looking for a repeat of his win from 2012 to bridge the gap to his rookie Repsol Honda team-mate.

Despite playing down his chances pre-event, Pedrosa was less than a tenth adrift of his fellow Spaniard following FP2 and is confident he can go faster on Saturday.
