Dani Pedrosa is looking towards this weekend's British MotoGP at Silverstone with renewed optimism following a strong ride to second place at Brno.

Pedrosa, who trails his Repsol Honda team-mate Marc Marquez by 26 points at the top of the championship, pushed the young Spaniard hard in the closing stages of the race in the Czech Republic and has growing confidence in his physical condition after recovering from a broken collarbone.

"After Brno I'm feeling pretty good and my physical condition is improving all the time, so I hope we can take another step this weekend in Silverstone," he said.
