Andrea Dovizioso has vowed to give his all in the pursuit of a solid result at Silverstone despite a 'lack of updates' from Ducati.
Dovizoso, who is gearing up for his 100th MotoGP race start at the British circuit on Sunday, has previously enjoyed plenty of success at Silverstone.
He has twice finished as the runner-up, although last year the Italian was only 19th following a crash on the Tech 3 Yamaha, ending his run of four consecutive rostrum finishes at the track.
Dovizioso has found it tough to fight for the top six this season following his move from Herve Poncharal's Yamaha outfit.
“Once again, we don't expect to have many updates, but we'll try to do our best anyway,” he said.
“Silverstone is a very strange and unusual track, but it's also quite nice.
“We know that the English weather can be a bit difficult for everyone, and when it rains, those really aren't the perfect conditions for riding a bike,” added Dovizioso.
“Still, I'm happy that we're going to race at Silverstone right away, just one week after Brno.”
