If any fans watching trackside at Silverstone on Friday saw home hero Cal Crutchlow beating his chest like Tarzan they need not be afraid.

"This morning I went out the pits and had a wasp in my leathers," explained the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider.

"The crowd must have thought I was Tarzan because I was trying to kill the thing, by smashing my own chest [with his fist]. I must have looked like a complete idiot!" smiled Crutchlow.
