If I remember correctly, Casey Stoner was lambasted and considered the height of arrogance after he chose not to pre-ride the new track like the rest had. Pole and a win... on a Ducati, haven't seen that for a while!

lot of comments on that thread saying the ducati looks fantastic for rossi next year , some even claiming jb and vale gave ducati some data to try and casey's win was the result of that data. funny how after valencia only a handful of races later they were screaming the bike is a pig and blamed casey's input. bring up more of these old threads crash , they are hilarious and a joy to read.
