UPDATED: Bikes finally on track! Moto3 qualifying is underway in fully wet conditions and the final weekend schedule looks set to be as listed below...
After cancelling the whole of Friday plus the Saturday morning Motegi sessions, due to visibility problems grounding the medical helicopters, the latest Japanese MotoGP schedule (subject to change) is as follows.
Weather permitting, riders will head straight into an extended qualifying session on Saturday afternoon, followed by a free practice on Sunday morning (in place of the usual 20-minute warm-up).
The races, which could decide all three 2013 riders' titles, are set to start as planned:
Moto3 12:50-13:45 (55m)
MotoGP 13:55-15:10 (1hr 15m)
Moto2 15:20-16:15 (55m)
Moto3 08:00-08:40 (40m)
Moto2 08:50-09:30 (40m)
MotoGP 09:40-10:30 (50m)
Should this schedule also be ruled out, Race Direction have said they will hold both qualifying and the races on Sunday
