Jorge Lorenzo began his preparations to reclaim the MotoGP world title in 2014 by testing the new standard ECU that will be used next season.

Lorenzo, who lost the championship to Repsol Honda's Marc Marquez by four points, evaluated the 2014 YZR-M1 alongside his 2013 bike.

"We tried many small things today and some have been very positive so we are quite satisfied. I feel good and I feel in good shape," he said.
