Round 12, Great Britain (MotoGP): Home hero Cal Crutchlow suffered three falls during the Silverstone weekend and was lucky not to be hit by Marc Marquez's Honda - the title leader dislocating his shoulder when he fell moments after Crutchlow in warm-up and also receiving two Penalty Points.
Round 12, Great Britain (MotoGP): Despite his injury Marquez fought a race long battle with Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa for victory.
Round 12, Great Britain (MotoGP): Victory was decided in the very final corners, with Jorge Lorenzo claiming his first win since Catalunya .
Round 13, San Marino (MotoGP): Front wheel sliding, elbow down, leg in the air - A brilliant save by Marc Marquez during practice.

Round 14, Aragon (MotoGP): Unaware of the controversy, Marc Marquez celebrates home victory over Jorge Lorenzo.
Round 15, Malaysia (MotoGP): In the pre-event press conference, Jorge Lorenzo mocks the decision to hand Marc Marquez one Penalty Point for the Aragon incident.

Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): MotoGP has its first final round title showdown since 2006, with rookie Marc Marquez 13 points ahead of defending champion Jorge Lorenzo.
Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): In order to try and bridge the points gap, Jorge Lorenzo slows down the pace at the front of the race to try and bring more riders into the fight.
Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): Marc Marquez's foot comes off the peg while queued up behind Lorenzo and Pedrosa.
Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): Jorge Lorenzo's ruthless defence of the lead results in contact with Dani Pedrosa. Here Pedrosa almost falls as he returns to the track.
Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): With Marc Marquez refusing to get sucked into a fight and with his fellow Yamaha riders unable to help, Lorenzo changes tactics and rides to victory ahead of Pedrosa.
Round 18, Valencia (MotoGP): Marc Marquez claims third place to become world champion by four points.
