Gresini Honda's Alvaro Bautista used the final day of the Sepang II MotoGP test to concentrate on further tweaks to the suspension, brakes and electronics of his RC213V.

Bautista, fastest on Wednesday, set the sixth best time in 2m 00.506s as he finished half a second behind pacesetters Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa.

"These six days of testing in Malaysia have been very hard because we faced very difficult conditions, but we are really happy because we have improved so much throughout the two testing sessions, reaching a good feeling with the bike," said Bautista.
