LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl feels he has the potential to 'compete at the front' as the German star reflected on the completion of the second Sepang MotoGP test on Friday.

Bradl was fifth fastest on day three on the RC213V, 0.165s off the leaders with a lap in 2m 00.164s.

He set his quickest lap early in the session on soft rubber and later dedicated the majority of his track time to a long run.

"I am quite happy about the job we made in the last three days. It's tough to work in these [hot] conditions and the guys made a very good job to adjust the bike," Bradl said.

"Early in the session we went out on soft rubber and afterwards we kept working on long-run performance.

"Today my pace was not as good as yesterday because I was not comfortable enough on hard front tyre but, overall, this test has been quite positive for us," he added.

"We are not far off the pace and we have the potential to ride in the front."
