Johann Zarco maintained his impressive form at the Jerez test as the Moto2 contender finished fifth fastest overall on the AirAsia Caterham Suter.

He achieved his personal best time at the Spanish circuit in 1m 42.626s, which was 0.410s behind pace setter Takaaki Nagakami.

Zarco, who provisionally topped the times in session two, was particularly satisfied given that Jerez has not traditionally been a rewarding circuit for the Frenchman.
