Moto2 rookie Sam Lowes is relishing the chance of a more level playing field relative to his rivals courtesy of this weekend's new event at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit in Argentina.

The reigning World Supersport champion has finished sixth and 16th in his Moto2 starts to date, the latter a fight-back ride from 33rd after being taken down at the opening corner in Texas.

"I'm really looking forward to the race this weekend at another new circuit and in a new country too. It will be a good level playing field for us all, as it's a new circuit and no one has raced here before," said the Speed Up rider.
