LCR Honda's Stefan Bradl is focused on earning his place in Q2 on Saturday at Jerez after a difficult beginning to the weekend in Spain.

The German rider finished eighth fastest overall in a time of 1m 40.644s after battling grip and set-up issues, which were compounded by the hot temperatures.

"We tried to adapt to the circumstances considering the hot temperatures and the tyres situation. It seems not as bad as last year when we had a very tough weekend because we are in a better shape, but I am still struggling on this circuit," said Bradl.
