Valentino Rossi has pledged to do 'everything' he can to battle home heroes Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo in this weekend's Catalunya MotoGP

Rossi moved up to second in the world championship with a strong tenth-to-third ride in front of his home fans at Mugello.

However the Italian superstar is already 53 points behind the unbeaten Marquez, who - along with the likes of Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa - will have the extra motivation and pressure of a home event this weekend.
