Jorge Lorenzo says that money is proving a sticking point in terms of agreeing a new Yamaha MotoGP contract.

The double MotoGP champion told the official MotoGP website: "My manager will keep talking with Lin [Jarvis, Yamaha Racing managing director]. At this moment we have found some differences between us, but as I always say I would like to finish my career with Yamaha. It would be the most beautiful thing. Hopefully we can find a solution."

The Spaniard added that the differences are: "Mainly economically to be honest" and confirming it is a question of salary.
