German MotoGP: Marquez tips Pedrosa threat to 9-0 quest

“Dani is so strong at this track!” – Marc Marquez.
MotoGP champion Marc Marquez predicts that team-mate Dani Pedrosa could pose the biggest threat to his unbeaten run at the Sachsenring this weekend.

Winner at the Sachsenring in his rookie title season, when Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo missed the race through injury, Marquez returns undefeated in 2014 and - in World Cup terminology - aiming to complete a 9-0 thrashing of his rivals when the MotoGP 2014 halftime whistle blows at the conclusion of Sunday's race.

Marquez, whose latest victory came during the wet-dry Assen race, said: "It was a tough and complicated weekend in Assen, but I was really happy to win a race under such tricky conditions.

“Now we have Sachsenring which is a nice circuit, but quite special as it's so small! Last year I had a good race but we must remember that neither Dani or Jorge were able to race so this year I look forward to racing them, especially as Dani is so strong at this track!

“It seems the Honda is well suited to this circuit so we will look to make the most of this advantage”

Marquez holds a 72-point championship lead over Pedrosa and Yamaha's Valentino Rossi, the equivalent of almost three race wins!

Yearby, it's best to discount all the purile anti-Dani posts from jorgebest, swissjudge and profX. They just get on here with the sole purpose to discredit one of the great riders of the modern era and annoy his fans.Rather pathetic really. Need to get a life and leave this site to true moto gp enthusiasts.

@ ProfessorX: Mate, you really don't understand this sport at all do you? Every post, every single one, just no clue at all. Time you stuck to F1 mate as you are making a bit of a fool of yourself. Good luck.
