Valentino Rossi is looking forward to trying out the change made to the Indianapolis MotoGP circuit for 2014.

Heavily criticised for its patchwork of different asphalt and numerous tight corners, the entire infield section has been repaved for this season with Turns 3, 4, 7, 15 and 16 also slightly reconfigured.

"Personally it was not one of the best tracks of the season," said Rossi. "More than the layout, the problem was the quality of the asphalt. A lot of bumps and not good grip. They've changed some corners and especially put a new surface. It looks good and the guys from the Safety Commission say they have made a good job."
