Valentino Rossi says he will continue to adopt a methodical approach in his quest to break Marc Marquez's stranglehold on the 2014 MotoGP World Championship as the series heads back to Europe for the Czech Grand Prix.

The Italian finished third last time out at Indianapolis, signalling his sixth podium of the season, Rossi enjoying an entertaining tussle with Andrea Dovizioso, Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo and Marquez during the early stages of the race.

Looking ahead to Brno, though Rossi admits he has not enjoyed the best of fortunes in the Czech Republic recently, he is confident he can maintain his upturn of form in 2014 with another podium.
