MotoGP Brno: Rossi: Concentration, studying every corner…

Yamaha Movistar's Valentino Rossi is determined to get his head down and approach the Czech Republic Grand Prix 'corner by corner'...
Valentino Rossi says he will continue to adopt a methodical approach in his quest to break Marc Marquez's stranglehold on the 2014 MotoGP World Championship as the series heads back to Europe for the Czech Grand Prix.

The Italian finished third last time out at Indianapolis, signalling his sixth podium of the season, Rossi enjoying an entertaining tussle with Andrea Dovizioso, Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo and Marquez during the early stages of the race.

Looking ahead to Brno, though Rossi admits he has not enjoyed the best of fortunes in the Czech Republic recently, he is confident he can maintain his upturn of form in 2014 with another podium.

“I really like the Brno circuit,” he said. “In the past I really did good races although in the last couple of years I've not had a great performance there.

“In Czech Republic we will have to repeat what we did in Indianapolis; concentrate, study corner by corner in every practice and do the maximum to fight with Marc and Jorge. It would be great to return to the podium there.”

Yamaha really need to make that first two sectors count and that stadium section specially to break Marc... because everything after the 180 degree turn in far end of circuit is uphill... it will be an uphill task for Yamaha to contain Honda through there... Go Rossi... Yamaha riders must work as a team and stay in each other's slip steam... Don't poke each other to open the gate for Marc like what happened in Indy... Go Yamaha..
