MotoGP Brno: Rossi hoping to keep Moto3 riders

“I truly hope that Romano remains to try to win the championship” – Valentino Rossi.
Valentino Rossi is hoping his VR46 Moto3 team can keep both its riders for 2015.

The Sky and KTM backed project is enjoying a superb debut season, with a rejuvenated Romano Fenati still in touch with the title fight after three wins and five podiums.

17-year-old team-mate Francesco Bagnaia is 14th overall, but has also shown his potential with a fourth place at Le Mans.

“I think and I hope that the riders will be the same,” said Rossi at Brno on Thursday. “Bagnaia will remain for sure and it is good to have a second year after a good experience this year. And I truly hope that Romano remains to try to win the championship. We have to speak to him but I hope they both remain.”

Fenati's only 28 points behind Miller. I hope VR hasn't given up on this year for him already. It wouldn't be sending the right message to the young bloke. He's riding well, and he's won races. Despite being 4th, he is as much of a challenge as Alex Marquez, and more convincing than Vasquez.
