Ducati continued its domination of the San Marino MotoGP weekend during a sunny Saturday morning practice at Misano.

Fastest in both of Friday's wet sessions courtesy of Yonny Hernandez and then Andrea Dovizioso, Ducati has a slight head start for this weekend in the form of a recent private test.

The team put their prior dry set-up work to good use as Pramac's Andrea Iannone led FP3 by 0.035s from Dovizioso, while also running the special soft rear tyre available to the Ducati and Open class riders.

Iannone, who took a knock to his right foot during one of the many Friday falls, set a best time of 1m 34.120s, just a few tenths outside of Jorge Lorenzo's official lap record.

Movistar Yamaha's Lorenzo, winner at Misano for the last three seasons, finished just 0.136s from the top, with world champion Marc Marquez (+0.164s) and Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa (+0.300s) in fourth and fifth.

Local star Valentino Rossi completed a top six covered by 0.332s. The Italian unveiled a special Misano helmet this morning, featuring multi-coloured hand prints from friends.

Having 'lost' Friday to wet weather, this morning's session not only marked the first dry running of the weekend, but decided the top ten riders that will receive direct access to Qualifying 2.

Aleix Espargaro (Forward Yamaha), Bradley Smith (Tech 3 Yamaha), Pol Espargaro (Tech 3 Yamaha) and Alvaro Bautista (Gresini Honda) made the cut, while the likes of Stefan Bradl (LCR Honda), Yonny Hernandez (Pramac) and Cal Crutchlow (Ducati) will head for Qualifying 1.
