Double world champion Casey Stoner will be back on-board a MotoGP machine during a private Honda test later this month.

The Australian retired at the end of 2012, at the age of just 27, but completed a series of tests for HRC last year.

Honda has confirmed to Crash.net that Stoner "will test our 2015 machine in Motegi after the Malaysian GP on 29th and 30th October, one day with Michelin and one day with Bridgestone."
