Andrea Iannone has withdrawn from the Malaysian MotoGP.

The Pramac Ducati rider suffered arm injuries in a clash with Marc Marquez in Friday practice and has pulled out after struggling to 23rd and last in the Saturday morning session.

"This morning I tried to get back on track to see how things were going with my arm, unfortunately I hurt a lot so I decided not to risk it," said Iannone. "I am very sorry to skip this race because I wanted to finish the season well. These things happen, we will make up for the last race in Valencia. "
