CEV Moto3 race winner Maria Herrera completed her first laps for the Calvo KTM team during this week's Valencia test.

Herrera, who dropped to eighth in the final CEV standings due to four non-scores, sealed the Calvo grand prix seat after seeing the Estrella Honda rides go to Fabio Quartararo and Jorge Navarro - first and second in the 2014 CEV.

"I am very happy because this test has been a good introduction to the new bike," said Herrera. "Yesterday I felt very comfortable, right from the first laps. The feeling was very good when it came to braking and I could ride fast.
