Ducati is continuing its preparations for the 2015 MotoGP World Championship season ahead of the winter testing ban by joining a handful of other teams from MotoGP, WSBK and Moto2 in Jerez.

Five of its six racing participants are present in Spain, with Andrea Dovizioso, Andrea Iannone and test rider Michele Pirro on the factory bike, Yonny Hernandez and Danilo Petrucci on the Pramac machines and Hector Barbera on the Avinitia bikes. Mike di Meglio was not at the test.

In addition, Forward Racing is present in Spain with new signings Stefan Bradl and Loris Baz, while Aprilia is continuing getting more laps on its new MotoGP entry with Marco Melandri and Alvaro Bautista.

Though none of the Ducati riders ran with transponders, Dovizioso and Iannone were sourced as the fastest riders with a time of 1min 38.9 and 1min 39.0secs respectively

Stefan Bradl, meanwhile, was third best with a time of 1min 39.593secs, ahead of Pirro and Bautista, the Spaniard getting his lap time down to 1min 40.629secs having had his running blighted by poor weather on previous days.

Elsewhere, Loris Baz lapped in 1min 41.206secs, while Melandri was just over three seconds off the pace with a 1min 42.006secs lap time.
