Dominique Aegerter showed Terminator-style resolve when he took this direct hit from a bouncing Moto2 bike in the Catalunya Moto2 race.

The Swiss rider was struck by the machine of Jordi Torres but amazingly kept control and, although the incident cost him a chance of the podium, Aegerter went on to score points for 14th place.

Aegerter's tenacity shouldn't have been a surprise: It had taken a black flag for a technical problem in the opening Qatar round to finally end his run of 33 successive points finishes.
