After a six month injury layoff, Simone Corsi returned to a Forward Moto2 machine during this week's official Valencia test.

The Italian, sidelined due to a badly broken arm after an incident with Jonas Folger at the British Grand Prix, claimed the tenth fastest lap time (+1.1s) during the single day of dry running.

"I'm really happy to be back on track after six months from the accident at Silverstone," said the Kalex rider. "Being back in the box with my team and riding my bike again was a wonderful feeling.
