Dani Pedrosa is hoping to build on his momentum from pre-season testing as the 2015 MotoGP World Championship dawns this weekend in Qatar.

The Repsol Honda rider hailed the development work carried out on the RC213V following the post-season test in Valencia in November and is feeling comfortable within his team after a number of personnel changes during the off-season.

"Unfortunately, our testing programme in Qatar ended early due to the weather last week but overall I'm confident and happy to get the season started," said Pedrosa, who has yet to win at the Losail International Circuit.
