Power Electronics Aspar Honda rider Nicky Hayden is confident he can build on his result in the Austin MotoGP this weekend at round three of the world championship in Argentina.

Hayden finished 13th in Texas on the RC213V-RS and is a big fan of the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, which hosted its inaugural MotoGP race in 2014.

"This is the second time we have been to Argentina and I have to say that last year I loved the track and enjoyed riding it all weekend," said Hayden.

"We did a good job in the race last Sunday so we want to pick up from that on Friday," he added.

"There is a real passion for motorcycles in this part of the world and the interest in MotoGP is definitely growing. I'm sure that like last year it will be an interesting weekend."
