Cal Crutchlow's third place finish in Argentina was his eighth in MotoGP but first on a Honda.

It puts the Englishman among an elite group of riders who have had podiums in the MotoGP class (2002 onwards) with three different manufacturers.

The others are:
o Valentino Rossi (Honda, Yamaha, Ducati).
o Alex Barros (Honda, Yamaha, Ducati).
o Loris Capirossi (Honda, Ducati, Suzuki).
o Andrea Dovizioso (Honda, Yamaha, Ducati).
o Marco Melandri (Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki).

Official statistics reveal only one rider has scored more MotoGP podiums than Crutchlow without standing on the top step: Colin Edwards (12).
