This was the moment Alex Rins and Tito Rabat clashed at the final turn of Sunday's Moto2 Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.

Rookie Rins attempted to snatch second from Rabat under braking, but instead clipped the reigning champion's rear wheel and fell (see pictures below, from Gold and Goose)

The incident also pushed Rabat wide, costing him a place to Johann Zarco, while Rins remounted to cross the line 18th. The race was won by Jonas Folger.

Rins has the abilities of a future champion. He's also able to crash into somebody and only take himself out.
