Dorna and the FIM are to begin talks with potential candidates for the post-2018 Moto2 engine supply.

Moto2 has been a single-engine championship, using identical Honda CBR600 powerplants, since it replaced the 250cc two-stroke class in 2010.

The announcement regarding the 2019 discussions confirmed that the future Moto2 deal will again be as "the exclusive engine supplier".
