Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez is determined to get back into the victory battle at Mugello this weekend.

Marquez - like the other factory class Honda riders - suffered surprise front-end problems during the previous Le Mans race, dropping the Spaniard from pole to fourth.

"We are very motivated after the weekend in Le Mans and arrive in Italy in good shape," Marquez said. "We must work hard from Friday to find a good set-up as Mugello is a complicated circuit, however, I like it and have good memories from my first victory in 2010."

Marquez also won at Mugello last season, when he defeated Jorge Lorenzo in a close duel to claim the sixth of what would be ten wins in a row.

The Spaniard returns with just one victory so far this season and now trails Lorenzo's Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi by 33 points heading into the Italian's home event.

"We know Valentino will be very strong at his home race, Jorge and Dani have a good history there and Ducati were testing there just a few weeks ago, so we will have to be focused all weekend," Marquez added.

Marquez is the only non-Yamaha rider to have won so far this season.
