MotoGP Catalunya: Pedrosa: You can feel the energy

“Mugello was pretty positive as I can feel my arm improving all the time” - Dani Pedrosa.
Dani Pedrosa finished a promising fourth last time at Mugello, his first real race since returning from arm pump surgery, and has continued rehabilitation ahead of his home MotoGP in Catalunya this weekend.

Although facing similar handling issues to team-mate Marc Marquez, the #26's style is not so reliant on corner entry and Pedrosa seemed to cope better when the tyre grip reduced.

“Mugello was pretty positive as I can feel my arm improving all the time,” Pedrosa said. “I've continued my rehabilitation since the race and now we head to my home race in Montmelò. We have a busy weekend ahead as we need to work hard on the bike to solve some issues.

“Set-up is key at this track as you spend so much time on the edge of the tyre. You can feel the energy of the fans and I hope we can take advantage of it! Let's hope it's nice weather and the fans can enjoy the weekend.”

Pedrosa's only premier-class Catalunya win was in 2008, although he battled Marquez for victory until the final turns of last year's event, having broken Marquez's perfect 2014 pole run on the Saturday.
