Jorge Lorenzo's Catalunya MotoGP victory was his 37th in the premier-class, putting him level with Mike Hailwood.

If Lorenzo can extend his winning streak to five in a row he will match former rival and fellow double MotoGP champion Casey Stoner's record of 38 victories this Saturday at Assen.

Lorenzo has won the last four MotoGP races from start to finish, marking 103 consecutive laps in the lead - a new MotoGP record.
