Loris Baz could remain in MotoGP next season with a move to Avintia Ducati.

The French rookie is an impressive second in the Open class standings, despite Forward Yamaha being forced to sit out Indianapolis due to financial troubles after the arrest of team owner Giovanni Cuzari.

Forward's long-term future remains unknown and on Sunday Dorna TV reported that Baz could switch to Avintia, alongside Hector Barbera and in place of countryman Mike di Meglio.
