Jorge Lorenzo says he 'feels strong like a shark' after winning the Aragon MotoGP - in reference to the helmet design used by championship leader Valentino Rossi at Misano.

Race winner Lorenzo used his hand as a fin on top of his helmet following the race in parc ferme to make a shark gesture after Rossi - speaking at Misano - said the shark represented Lorenzo, Marc Marquez and the Ducati riders, who were 'trying to eat him' at his home race.

Lorenzo, though, played down the incident, saying he wasn't offended by the depiction on Rossi's helmet at the previous round, which showed a large shark chasing a small fish.

"I think his helmet was really funny, really creative and I didn't feel offended," he said.

Rossi said he didn't see Lorenzo's gesture but admitted he could see the funny side of his title rival's reaction.

"I don't see Jorge make like this, but it was not offensive, the helmet, and it's good because today he was the shark and if he wants a design for the last races I can give to him perfect [one] to use."
