Sam Lowes completed his second and final Kalex test of the year at Valencia on Tuesday.
The new Gresini rider, who made his debut on the German frame at Jerez last week, spent two days focussing on race set-up for the 2016 Kalex and Ohlins suspension.
The British star, who claimed Speed Up's only win of the season at Austin this year, set the fifth fastest time of the private test courtesy of a 1m 35.105s.
“I'm really happy because during these two days I've been working a lot with race tyres, while many other riders took advantage of the softer tyres,” confirmed Lowes, who rode for a mammoth 233 laps.
“I've been much faster than the best lap that I got during the grand prix, just over a week ago, so I'm really confident going into the winter break!
“I love the bike and the team and I'm happy with the work we have done so far: I'm so confident that I'd like the Qatar Grand Prix to be next week!”
Lowes' next Moto2 outing will be after the winter testing ban, in February.
